Your Tasks
- Design and development in Pl Visualization Suite, and Pl AF System Explorer
- Develop and apply advanced methods, theories, and research techniques in the investigation and solution of complex and advanced software applications and problems
- Resolve complex hardware/software compatibility and interface design considerations
- System installation, configuration, performance testing, and tuning
- Develop system models, visualizations and dashboards, analytical equations, and reports
- Close collaboration with customer to clarify their needs and requirements; resolve problems; manage system suppliers; and ensure requirements are met on a timely basis
- Writing/updating system specification documents
- Writing test specifications for installation and operational qualification
- Execution of qualification activities based on written test specifications
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
- Solid grounding in SCADA, PLC, OPC, Continuous/Batch Historians and DCS Based control systems
- Sound knowledge of OSIsoft PI - Data Historian, PI AF, RtReport and related technologies, ideally OSIsoft PI certified
- Experience in CSV, Pharmaceutical Development or Manufacturing (GMP) environment
- Experience in the field of networks, servers and operating systems, virtualized platforms, and databases (Access, SQL, Oracle etc.)
- Programming experience with the PI-SDK and PI AF-SDK using .NET
- Further experience in the field of application programming (VB, VBA, Phyton etc.) is an advantage
- Experience with MES Systems (Syncade, ProPack Data, PAS-X etc.) is an advantage
- Precise and independent working method
- Strong skills in German and English
