Your Tasks

  • Conceptual planning and project management of process buildings with a focus on process architecture
  • Experience in optimising building logistics / flows of people and materials
  • Implementation of process and building services requirements in the building design
  • Discussion and partner management with external architects
  • Management and coordination of an interdisciplinary project team
  • Willingness to take responsibility for maintaining client relationships

Your Profile

  • Degree in architecture or similar
  • Many years of professional experience (>8 years) in a pharmaceutical and / or chemical environment
  • Strong knowledge of process architecture
  • Deep understanding of structural requirements from process engineering (biotech, chemistry, galenics) as well as from building services engineering
  • Knowledge of legal requirements (HSE, fire protection, etc.) for planning process buildings
  • Curiosity about new processes, asking the right questions
  • Experience in cleanroom planning and execution is an advantage
  • Leadership experience in a project is an advantage
  • Analytical skills with clear communication
  • Fluent in German & English
  • Willingness to travel

Traveling activity

The duration of our projects is usually between 6 and 24 months. Depending on the project and the project phase, the work location is mainly the project location at the customer, although mobile working from home is sometimes possible in consultation with the project management. At BakerHicks you have the opportunity to work with different customers and different technologies. You get to know new cities and are still always at home on weekends.
